Betty was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. For our mom, her kids and grandkids were her life. She loved to cook and clean. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She cared about other people and would never let anyone be without. Betty was a very funny person.
Survivors include her children, Lisa Renee Lanthier and Brian Keith Lanthier, both of Sulphur; her siblings, Glenda Deshotel and husband, James "Jimmy" of Mamou, and Kenneth "Kenny" Fournerat of Sulphur; and her two grandsons, Christopher Paul Lanthier and Kaleb Michael Crochet. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Geraldine Fournerat; and siblings, Sandra Marie LeJeune and Spencer Ray Fournerat.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held in Old St. Ann Cemetery in Mamou
