Beverly Tyler

She was a native of Lake Charles and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 25 years. Beverly enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family in Arkansas, and hiking in the mountains. She had served as a caregiver for many years, taking care of the elderly.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Tyler of Sulphur; her mother, Shirley Doss of Lake Charles; six children, Donna Guillory and husband, Darren of Mobile, Alabama, Deloy Duhon of Denham Springs, Debi Hinchcliff and husband, Joey of Denham Springs, Angel Goodrich and husband, James of Sulphur, Cody Tyler and wife, Misty of Sulphur, and Jarett Tyler and wife, Leah of Sulphur; one sister, Tammie Doss-Tyler of Lake Charles; sixteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Doss.

A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, in Faith Temple in Sulphur under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of service in the church. The Rev. Marcus Wade will officiate.
