Bobby Joe Grisham

He was a longtime Sulphur resident and recently moved to Texas to be near his siblings. Bobby owned Grisham Electric for over 40 years and a longtime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. He loved to talk and if he ran into you around town, you would be visiting for awhile. He always had a smile upon his face.

Survivors include his children, Eric Grisham of Lake Charles, Janet Sanders and husband Mike of Georgetown, Texas, Donna Rochester and husband Louis of Sulphur, Gary Blanchard and wife Suzie of Sulphur, Connie Toth and husband Greg of Melbourne, Florida and Greg Blanchard and wife Arlene of Sulphur; sisters, Irene McMurtey and husband Bill of Pharr, Texas, Orlina Ellis of Wills Point, Texas and Paula Towney and husband Don of Canton, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Jeanette Grisham.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 20 in St. Theresa Catholic Church. The Rev. Joe Aquino will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South. Visitation will be 4 – 9 p.m. Wednesday with a Rosary at 7 pm and will resume Thursday from 8 -9:30 am in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
