Bobby Ray Sivils, 86, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born to his late parents, Raymond and Alice Sivils on August 11, 1938 in Port St. Joe, Florida. Bobby was in the United States Marine Corps. and stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He retired after many years of service with LyondelBasell (formerly Hercules Powder Company). He loved to golf, fish (enjoyed going to Toledo Bend), and treasured his time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Bonnie Gail Sivils; son, Stuart Ray Sivils (Kem) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brother, Doye Odell Sivils (Marcia) of San Ramone, California; three grandchildren, Captain Jonathan Sivils U.S.M.C., Baylee Sivils, and Paige Rode; along with six great grandchildren, Luke Sivils, Kathryn Sivils, Adam Sivils, Stella Gordon, Milo Warnke, and Casper Warnke.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; along with his daughter, Alycia Sivils Rode.
A Celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur, Louisiana on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, with Bro. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, from 9:00 am until the time of the service. A private burial will be held at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, Louisiana.
