Brandi Leah Trahan

Brandi was a great soul. She always had time and compassion for all. She was our HERO. Fun loving, sassy and smart. She graduated from Sulphur High School in 2001. In 2005 Brandi graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She also attended ULM and was 6 hours away from having her Masters degree in Educaton. We lost our great soul to domestic violence. She was employed by EZ Messenger as a process server. Brandi enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, but most of all hanging out with her precious Raelynn.

Brandi loved life, and most of all her family, and when her smile returned, she sacrificed her life for the family she loved.

Survivors include her parents, Louis Jr. and Blondie Trahan of Carlyss, her daughter Raelynn Alana, her step-son Rayce Alan, a special friend Paul and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Louis Sr. and Mabel Trahan, maternal grandparents, Melvin and Leah Simon and great grandmothers, Georgette Bourque and Marie Simon.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. May 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Lasalette with Reverend Andrews Kollanoor officiating. Burial will be on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Roselawn Cemetery . Visitation will be 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday May 1, with a Rosary at 6p.m., and Monday May 2, at 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
