Brenda Sue Bevil, 66, lifelong resident of Sulphur, passed away on October 25, 2026. She was born to her late parents, Harlon and Marion Stockman on January 17, 1960. Brenda enjoyed shopping, putting together puzzles, gardening and feeding the wildlife in her yard.
She is survived by her children: Dustin Bevil of Sulphur, Trent Bevil and wife, Natasha of Sulphur and Heather Bevil of Carlyss; two brothers, Gary Stockman and Christopher Stockman, both of Lake Charles; two sisters, Jennifer Hidalgo of Topsy and Kristy Lacey and husband, Stretch of Dry Creek; along with seven grandchildren: Alexander Bevil, Zachary Bevil, Katelyn LaCombe, Alexis Miller, Tanner Miller, Isabella Gonzales, and Kirkland Beaudeaux.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, James Bevil; her parents; two brothers, Ronald Stockman and Harlon D. Stockman; and sister, Dinah Stockman.
