Bruce Patrick Twigg

Bruce proudly served in the United States Air Force serving during Vietnam as a Armament Systems Specialist and retired after 20 years of service. After retirement he went to Lamar Salter Technical College and began his second career in the Heating & AC Tech industry working for Walters Sheetmetal and Cepolk. Bruce then went back to Lamar Salter Technical College as a teacher. Bruce loved cars, racing, going to car shows, and cruises with his car club.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce James and Nellie Laura Twigg, brothers, Ernie and James Twigg, and a sister, Genevieve.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Toni Fern Twigg; daughter, Amy LaCaze and Shawn; son, Josh Twigg and Amy; grandchildren, Corey, Jason, Amberly, Christopher, David, Brittany, Abby, Shelton, and Haidyn; one great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Betsy Merritt and husband, Don, Marty Bond and husband, James, Marie Wolfe and husband, Lloyd, and Mary Twigg and husband, Tucker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Six Mile Pentecostal Church and will resume from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Six Mile Pentecostal Church with Rev. L. E. Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial.
