Carol LeDoux

She had been a resident of Sulphur for over 50 years prior to moving to Kinder 10 years ago. Carol was a longtime member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Sulphur and was a member of the Grace Community Church in Kinder for the last 10 years. She enjoyed reading western and mystery novels, playing the piano, and singing.

Survivors include her children, Jeff LeDoux and wife, Kay of Pikeville, North Carolina, and Kim McNicholas and husband, Trent of Austin, Texas; her siblings, Gene LaFleur of Buna, Texas, and Genevieve Smith and Sherman LaFleur, both of Kinder; and two grandchildren, Carson and Grant McNicholas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee LeDoux; son, Erick LeDoux; her parents, Marion and Gertie LaFleur; and her siblings, Ronald "Boonie" LaFleur and Charles LaFleur.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, in Grace Community Church in Kinder. The Revs. Rod Nesmith, H.W. Smith, and Allan Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held in the church from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the church.
