SULPHUR-Charlotte Maxine Holloway, 78, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in a local care center.
Charlotte was a native of Coffeeville, Kansas, and lived in Sulphur since 1984. She had attended Olivet Baptist Church. She loved crossroad puzzles and cards. Charlotte was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She will be missed.
Survivors include her son, Anthony David Holloway, Sr, of Sulphur; daughters, Monica Crochet and husband Mike of Sulphur, Melody Marcantel and husband Jeremy of Sulphur, and Michelle Obalek of Sulphur; brother, Leonard "Peanut" Carter, Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is prececed in death by her husband Charles David Holloway.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 7, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, all in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
