

A native and lifelong resident of Sulphur, Charlotte was a devoted member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She cherished spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, and the kindness she shared with everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Sterling Williams of Carlyss; her children, Scott Douglas Williams and wife, Gwen of Sulphur, Kala Stark of Lake Charles, and Paul Rodney Williams and wife, Karen of Sulphur; nine grandchildren, Heather Thibodeaux, Trevor Williams, Eric Williams, Jason Stark, Landon Stark, Aaron Stark, Olivia Richard, Sean Williams, and Karley Williams; and seven great-grandchildren, Connor Thibodeaux, Kaleb Thibodeaux, Zachary Thibodeaux, Iris Williams, Lindalyn Stark, Oakley Richard, and Lana Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Azzie Mae Bahnsen; and her sisters, Barbara Ford and Evelyn Genaro.
Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Sibi Kunninu, M.S. will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Pallbearers will be Trevor Williams, Eric Williams, Jason Stark, Landon Stark, Aaron Stark, Sean Williams, and Paiton Richard.
