He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and a 2003 graduate of Sulphur High School, where he played soccer. Chase also enjoyed snowboarding, wakeboarding, as well as spending time with family and friends. He attended Maplewood First Baptist Church. He had been employed as a Project Supervisor with ACTT in Dumas, Texas, for the last four years.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Sandra Parker; his siblings, Dax Parker and wife Emily of Lake Charles, Beth Parker of Jackson, Tenn., Bridget Newman and husband Dr. Mark Newman of Jonesboro, Ark., and Bill Parker and wife Andrea of Jackson, Tenn.; nephews, Jagger and Ashton Parker; aunts, uncles, as well as other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Shanklin, Artie M. and Donald Pack, Bill and Maudie Parker; and nephew, Adam Parker.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Dr. Ronnie Burke will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss.
