Clayton Michael Gaudet, 43, of Vinton, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Clayton was born in Sulphur on October 16, 1981. Clayton was a heavy equipment operator and in his spare time, he enjoyed sitting around a bonfire, fishing, bowling and riding 4 wheelers or side by sides. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his girls.
Those left to cherish Clayton’s memory are his daughters, Caris Marie, Cadley Mae and Camdean Maybrie Gaudet of Bridge City, Texas; mother, Tina Thompson and husband Jeff of Hemphill, Texas; father, Michael Gaudet and wife Tanya of Vinton; brother, Mikeal Walter of Vinton; sister, Colette Marcantel and husband Chase of DeQuincy; grandparents, Adam and Lou Bertrand of Vinton; along with numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mickey and Sylvia Gaudet.
Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Bro Gerard Little will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gaudet, Chris Gaudet, Chase Marcantel, Austin Gautreaux, Chance Zimoski, and Gary Vincent.
