

He was a native and lifelong resident of Hackberry. Clifford served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp in the late 50's. He was a member of St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church where he served in several ministries, the Knights of Columbus-Dominican, and served as a Board Member for Farm Bureau. He was a volunteer fireman for 50 years in Hackberry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching college football. Clifford was truly "The King of the Grill" especially his famous ribs.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Little of Hackberry; his son, Bryan K. Little and wife, Marlene of Hackberry; three brothers, Gene and William Little of Hackberry, and Robert Little of Ponchatoula; two grandchildren, Kayla Lovell and Cory Moyles; and two great-grandchildren, Bella and Maddie Moyles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Evie Little.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, in St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Gijo Ikkaramattom, HGN, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the church from 5-9 p.m. Monday with a rosary service at 7 p.m. and will resume at 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the church.
