Dale Bennie Mount

Dale was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He was an avid decorated hunter. A few of his proudest accomplishments besides his family were Louisiana Bow Hunter of The Year for five consecutive years, and The First National Art Young recipient for the State of Louisiana. Dale was a hard working father, hunter and coach. He motivated others to push themselves to become better.

He is survived by his children, Wesley Mount and wife, Andrea, Deborah Lea Mount and Sophia Mount; grandchildren, Kenzie Wyninger, Caleb Wyninger, Brooklynn Mount, Austin Mount and Presley Mount.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Sophia Mount; wife, Barbara Lea Ayres Mount; second wife, Theresa Mount; infant son, Archie Mount; and grandson, Landan Mount; brother, Roger Mount.

His funeral will be 1:00pm, Friday, November 4th at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Chapel. Rev. Glen Massey and Rev. Charles Nugent will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday from 5:00pm-8:00pm and resume Friday at 11:00am until service time. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
