Ned, so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 

I was so impressed at tonight’s calling hours with the way Dan’s father’s fellow firefighters showed up in support. I shouldn’t have been surprised, firefighters alway show up. We that spent time with Dan at Firestone in Akron, or Lake Charles feel a bond as well, and would like to claim him forever as one of our own. Eternal  Rest and God Bless!

Ned,                                                                                  I am so sorry for the loss of your son.                 

Danny meant so much to me as a kid and even more as an adult. We went from being 12 year-olds at holiday parties, camping in the backyard at the Darnell’s, Embassy Suites weekends with the whole crew —to being adults attending college together at KSU. We lived in the same dorm, shared many meals, many walks together and many conversations post grad.  I felt like we really understood one another and I will miss that feeling immeasurably.

Our Condolences from the Mechling Family. Dan and I had a lot of good memories on the Baseball Field. He was a true Bulldog. And He will be missed! Your Family is in my Prayers! 

I am absolutely heartbroken to hear about the loss of Dan. Dan and I went to college together, he was in my wedding and a huge piece of my life. I have so many fun memories with him.  I will miss him deeply. I’m sure he is telling jokes and playing pranks in heaven.

Missig family.  I worked with Dan at the Akron office and when he move to Louisiana.  He was such a bright guy with so much talent.  He was also fun to work with.  My heart goes out to you . Please cherish your memories. 


To the Missig’s- I am another co worker of Dan’s who can truly say he will be missed. He had his own way of doing things, the “Dan” way. He was always hilarious and was more than a coworker. He was a friend that would listen and I will always remember the good times! 
I know words can not take the pain away but I hope they bring some comfort one day with how many friends and memories he shared across the country. 

Dan was a great friend & coworker & always was willing to help anyone.. we enjoyed our time together at Firestone. Many prayers to his family and friends during this time of grief. 

To the Missing’s - I am incredibly sorry for the great loss of an amazing son, friend, co-worker, nephew, listening ear to all that needed. Dan was truly one of a kind and immensely loved by all of his Sulphur, La community! I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers for the days to come. Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew him without a doubt. 

Missigs, I am truly sorry for your loss. Dan was a genuine friend and he was deeply loved. His smile was infectious and he had a honest heart.  He will be missed, but our memories are treasured.
