He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Dennis was the kind of person who never met a stranger and would give the shirt off of his own back to help someone in need.
Survivors include his siblings, Calvin Bonsall, Jr of Dayton, Texas, David Bonsall of Sulphur, Vicki Andrus of DeQuincy, and Lisa Hernandez of Sulphur; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Bonsall Sr. and Ethel Bonsall; and siblings, Margaret Smith, Ivy Bonsall Sr, Jody Deville, and Ronald Bonsall.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
