My late husband, our children and I were intimately involved with Dennis and Tina while stationed in Germany many years ago. We were “family”. They would come over to our home on Friday nights after work and leave...whenever. Dennis found us on FB just after my husband passed and shared we were to he and Tina a second set of parents. Our whole family loved them. My heart aches for his family. Such a great young man.

Memories and remembrances, special thoughts for Evelyn and Dennis, Sr.
So terribly sorry for your loss. David, my son, said he was a really good guy, and remembers him from school. Evelyn, although we seldom see each other, every time I do see you, you lift my spirits. Mike always liked you and yours. I will remember ya'll in my prayers. God bless ya'll.

Forever Remembered, Forever Missed. Someone so special can never be forgotten.

I have had the pleasure working with Dennis during the few months of my SASOL Project assignment. I will remember Dennis as a very nice gentlemen, friendly, happy, crazy, always in for a joke and definitely an early bird ... but did manage to beat him to the office in the mornings ;-) He actually wrote this on the card he gave me (and I actually still have) when I left the project ... being the only one that would make it in before he did. Did also love love love his white truck and wardrobe. Big fan of overalls now :-D

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am at a loss for words....i didn't know him that well but he was always smiling and laughing.
I remember one particular night when he put an ice bomb next to my jeep...😂 After that night I called him the "jeep killer". He would laugh and ask me how my jeep was doing!
Will be praying for the family as they go through this difficult time.

I first met Dennis at the river. He always had a smile or laugh. Don't think I ever saw him not wearing overalls. He enjoyed people and helped when he could. So much positive could be learned watching how he treated people rest in piece will never forget you

I knew Dennis in high school and on my 22nd birthday I watched as he and my sister Tonya were married and the following year had their son Tyler. Dennis was a wonderful person and father and I am so blessed that he was part of our family. He was so funny and patient and always the life of the party. He served his country and touched so many during his time here on earth. I pray he rests in peace and also that his wife Jenn and his parents, children and other family and friends are loved and supported during this very difficult time. Love to all, especially love to Dennis.

I met Dennis in Council Bluffs Iowa working for Maxim. I was new to the job and Dennis took me under his wing like I was one of his children. A man that always had a smile on his face and was always there to turn a negative in to a positive. I will never forget his cooking and how much he loved to do it. His crawfish etouffee was the best, especially on those cold Iowa winter days and Wayne Toups was a familiar sound in his RV park there. Dennis joined the Mammoet team a few years ago and never missed a beat. He took his position very serious and was the best at it. I will severely miss my friend. Rest in peace Mr McKnight
