Don Albert Johnson

He was a native of Vinton and had been a resident of the Sulphur-Carlyss area for the last 40 years. Don was a member of Welch Memorial United Methodist Church. He retired with Local 198 of Lake Charles after almost 50 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Johnson of Carlyss; his children, Julie D. Johnson of Lake Charles, and Rhonda LeBlanc of Sulphur; his siblings, Myrle Sidney "Buddy" Johnson of Winnie, Texas, and Carla Henry of Clear Lake, Texas; five grandchildren, Olivia Guillory, Justin Guillory, Jolie Bell, Matthew Duhon, and Joshua Duhon; and two great-grandchildren, Zayden Mitchell and Liam Duhon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family would like to give special thanks to the staffs of West Calcasieu Cameron Home Health and Heart of Hospice for their excellent care of Don.
