Ellen was a Sulphur native and attended Wesley United Methodist Church. She was a golden member of the VFW Women's Auxillary. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, sewing, and cooking. She loved traveling with her children and grandchildren. Ellen loved to cook for everyone and always kept an open house.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Vincent and his wife Nannette, of Sulphur and Pop Vincent of Sulphur; son-in-law Ronald Rhodes, brother, J.D. Dubois of Sulphur, grandchildren, Jonathan Vincent and companion Tiffany Carrier, Scott Vincent and wife Kandice, Codie Vincent Wold and husband Bryan, Regina Carlson, Patricia Laird, Jinnifer Marcantel and Ronny Rhodes; 12 great grandchildren and her companion Clyde Guillotte.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Andres Vincent; sons Charles Andres Vincent and Richard Lee Vincent; daughters, Deborah Rhodes and Delania Vincent; sisters, Dorothy Ravia, Amelia Tunks and Jeanette Pine; and brother Alee Dubois.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. The Rev Sidney Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitaton will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service Saturday.
