

He lived in Sulphur for 13 years, moving from Bridge City, Texas. He attended Welsh Memorial United Methodist Church of Vinton. He loved gardening, cowboy movies, TV wrestling, cooking, hunting and fishing. He truly loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Barbara Hare; mother Alice Walter of Vinton; sons, Steve Hare and his wife Gwen, of Sulphur, and Craig Hare and his wife Jennifer, of Keller, Texas; daughter, Tammy Corbello and her husband Brian, of Vinton; stepsons, Don Smith and his wife Nicole, of Sacramento, California, and Brian Coulter of Vinton; and step daughter, Tammy Turner of Houston, Texas; brothers, Larry Hare, Gary Walter and Danny Walter; sister, Carolyn Baker; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hare, Jade Corbello,Jacob Corbello, Brennan Casteel, Chase Casteel, Jeremy Coulter, Josh Coulter, Jude Coulter and Lindsey Thibodeaux; and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hershel Hare.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Rhonda Feurtado will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
