A native of Mississippi, Ervin has resided in Sulphur for over 40 years. He was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church and loved fishing. He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Citgo refinery where he was employed for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Martin of Sulphur; four children, Shaughnessy Martin of Sulphur, Anna Martin of Mississippi, Elizabeth Addison of Lake Charles and Joann Milliron; sister, Marilyn Burg of Mississippi; and one grandchild, Aiden Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Martin, Sr.; mother and step-father, Valarie and Charles Wesberry.
His funeral will be at 1 pm Friday, September 19 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronnie Burke will officiate. Visitation will be held 11 am - 1 pm on Friday.
