Eugene lived in Sulphur most of his life, and attended Our Lady of LaSallette Catholic Church. He loved fishing.
Survivors include his children, Mark Trahan of Oklahoma, Linda Trahan of Oklahoma, Johnny O'Quain and wife Shelly of Sulphur, David Trahan of Sulphur, Veronica Sheridan and husband Adam of Elton, and Eugene Trahan, Jr. of Minnisota; and siblings, Ida Mae Gaspard, Jeanette Fontenot, Simon Trahan, Louis Trahan, Roger Trahan, Oliver Trahan and Billy Trahan, numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas Trahan, and his brothers, Elmer Trahan. A. J. Trahan, and parents John and Olive Trahan.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 10th, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
