Eula was born in Orange, Texas and lived there most of her life until 10 years ago when she moved to Sulphur to live with her daughter, Delories. She was a great seamstress and loved doing carpenter work with her husband. She had a unique way of measuring with her hand instead of a tape measure. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her son, Ervin Raggio and wife, Rickie; daughters, Delories Shorten, Brenda Mott and fiancé, Dennis and Linda Talbert; sisters, Lucille Myers and Susie Little; brother, Jesse Simon and wife, Shirley; 10 grandchildren, Billy Kinney, Carla (Michael) Melancon, Clint Raggio, Clayton (Debbie) Raggio, Naomi (Chad) Majors, Pam Julian, Ryan Mott (fiancé Amber), Leanna Simmons, Matthew (Becca) Mott and Dakota Schumacher; 18 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ophie and Cleonie Simon; 1st husband and father of her two oldest children, Mayo Raggio, 2nd husband and father of her two youngest children, Preston Talbert; 2 brothers, Howard Simon and Rogers Simon.
Her funeral will be 10am, Friday, October 3, 2014 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Clayton Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
