Eva Lucille Berryman

Sulphur- Eva Lucille Colvin Berryman was born on June 28, 1923 in Lincoln Parish, La. and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2016 in a local hospital in Sulphur, La.

She was a minister's wife, homemaker, seamstress, and mother to four children. Her hobbies were quilting, sewing, and she loved baking pies. She sent greeting cards to her friends and family on all occasions.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, David Berryman and wife, Gay of Granbury, Texas, Fran Thornberg and husband, John of Humble, Texas, Mark Berryman of Nairobi, Kenya, and Gail Ross and husband, Darrell of Sulphur, La; ten grandchildren that called her Mommom, Nathan Ross, Emily Ross, Kristen Hanks and husband, Josh, Nicole Maricelli and husband, Jared, Kim Craig, Donna Bell and husband, Tim, Jeff Berryman and wife, Kristie, Jared Berryman and wife, Karina, April Watson and husband, David, Evan Long and wife, Mia; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nell Roach and Sallie Aulds, and a brother, Abbie Colvin, all of Ruston, La; a brother-in-law, Buddy Berryman and wife, Janet of Kirbyville, Texas; a sister-in-law, Sammie Joyce Williamson and husband, David of Albany, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Berryman; her parents, Eva and Clay Colvin; a brother, Rodney Colvin; and a sister, Inez Sharpe.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday, January 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Joey Franks and Bro. Brian Spicer will officiate.
