She was a native of Dallas, Texas and had been a resident of the Sulphur/Lake Charles area for the last 60 years. Faye had been a teacher for many years, having taught at F.K. White Middle School, W.W. Lewis Middle School, and Sulphur High School until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping, visiting with friends and family, and taking care of her cats.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Gene B. Mullin of Sulphur; and her daughter, Kathy Mullin of Baton Rouge.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery in Groves, Texas.
