Flora Weldon

Flora was born on April 21, 1950. She loved her family, her life and her music ministry as an organist and vocalist for the church. She was also a professional hair stylist and she loved people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Georgie and Rodney Ducote, her husband of 36 years, Kenneth Weldon, and her sister, Gwendolyn Fontenot.

Left to cherish her memory are Pamela Ducote Smith and her husband Dwain, Rod Ducote, Jr. and his wife Peggy, Elise

Ducote LeBoeuf and her husband Buckie, and Denise Ducote Derouen and her husband Tommy; her nieces and nephews, Bo and Rosa Smith, Aunie and Wally Whatley, Mason, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Brennan, Brandy and Kyle Picard, Rod and Jessica Ducote, III, Dana and Jason Cheramie, Bryant and Danielle Ducote, Tyler, Claudia, Dalton, Helen, Logan, Emma, Devan, Cydnie, Laynie, Jaden, Owen, Chuck and Tina LeBoeuf, Clint, Corey and Megan LeBoeuf, Maegen, Charlie, Madeline, Kelsey, Kourtlin, Elijah, Colin, Catherine and Josh Parks, MaCenna and Mackey and her beloved pet, Zoey

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, the Rev. Vincent Sedita will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral home on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 5 to 9 p.m. with a scripture service and rosary at 6 p .m..
