She was a native of Houston, Texas, and had been a resident of Louisiana for over 60 years, most recently in Sulphur. Frances was employed by Walgreens for more than 45 years before her retirement. She was extremely proud of her career and could often be seen wearing her Walgreens uniform even after retiring.
Frances enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her plants and flowers, and mowing her own lawn well into her early 90s. She also loved caring for her cats, cooking, and reading her Bible, which she did daily. She will be remembered as a very spirited and devoted woman.
She is survived by her children, Paula Dubin of Sulphur, Charlene Bennett and husband, Clyde, of Sulphur, and Cynthia Broussard of Ragley; her grandchildren, Rebecca Dubin, Jeremy Dubin, Fran Bennett (Patricia), Elizabeth Taylor (Shane), Angelene Hughes (Ron), Syrenthia Thibodeaux (Keith), and Anna Theriot (Chad); fifteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Otis Peveto; her parents, Joseph and Nellie Bartkovak; her son, Cleveland Albert Peveto; and her seven siblings.
