

A native of Oklahoma, Frank had lived in Sulphur the last 55 years. He was a machinist working with Citgo a number of years retiring as a maintenance supervisor in 1984. Frank enjoyed the outdoors especially gardening and always found time to spend with family and friends as well as his canine companion ”Curly”.
He is survived by wife Cathy Mahony Robbins; sons Frank Stuart Robbins, Jr. and Gary Dale Robbins; grandson Graham Weedon (Jackie); great granddaughter Caroline Weedon; stepchildren Michael Mahony (Jackie), Susan Mahony Gauthreaux, Mark Mahony, Catherine Mahony and Sarah Mahony Cappel (Ned); step granddaughters Lauren, Alexa, Raney, Zoé, Mia, and Marley; step grandsons Joshua and Peter Michael; numerous nieces including Rani Ball (Randy).
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Edward “Joe” and Julia Giles Robbins; brothers Joseph Moore Robbins, Nathan Rayburn Robbins and Daniel Edward Robbins; sister Jessie Lear and first wife “Gerry” Richardson Robbins.
His funeral will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Robb Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery ~ South in Carlyss. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 until 8 pm Wednesday.
