Freddie was a lifelong Sulphur resident, an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He worked for many years as a mill operator in the oil field industry.
He is survived by his children, Tarra Satterley and husband Robert of Sulphur, Toby Harrington and wife Stephanie of Sulphur, Tracey Poole and husband Kenneth of Moss Bluff and Terrie Young of Sulphur; brother Don Young of Sulphur; sister, Linda Crawford of Sulphur; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Aline Young; and two brothers, Joe Young and L. J. Young.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m Monday, February 17 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary at 6 p.m and will resume Monday at 8 a.m. until time of service.
