He was a Moss Lake native and attended The Waters Edge Church in Lake Charles. Garit wasn’t only an amazing kid, he was a healer. Guaranteed, after spending five minutes with him, you were a better person than you were before. To say Garit was a fighter is an understatement, he was an “amazing warrior.” After all he had been through, he never complained and always had a sense of humor. He could make you laugh in the toughest times. He never lost his faith and fought to the end for all of us, for you and me, just like our Lord and Savior, who he loved dearly.
