Geraldine was born in Pawnee, OK and lived in Sulphur. She loved spending time with family and friends and also loved the fellowship with her church family at Houston River Baptist Church. She was called “Mayna” by her precious grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Shellye Foley of Enterprise, AL, Debra Reviere of Southaven MS, Monte Hart and wife, Marsha of Sulphur and Steven Hart of Lumberton, TX; niece, Vickye Dougrey of Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred E. Hart; parents, Clyde and Hazel Tipton Haga; sister, Elvena Sylvester and son-in-law, George “Bill” Foley.
Her funeral will be 1pm, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate. Visitation will begin Wednesday 6pm-9pm at the funeral home and resume Thursday 9am until service time. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South.
