

Gladys was a Sulphur native and attended Houston River Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, crafts and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years Lindsey Campbell, Sr.; children, Cliffiney Duplechin and her husband Carson, of Sulphur, Lindsey Campbell, Jr. and his wife Melinda, of Sulphur, and Jody Campbell and her partner Shawn Link, of Sulphur; sister, Dora Johnson; brothers, R.L. Marcantel and William Tim Marcantel; grandchildren, Callie Wilks and her husband Brandon, D.J. Campbell, Jacklyn Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Taylor Copper; great grandchildren, Lindz Campbell, Bella Wilks, and Bryson Wilks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Leona Marcantel; and her sister Dorothy Nunlley.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Heart of Hospice for their kindness and support.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 8, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, all in the funeral home.
