She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Married to her sweetheart for 77 years, their love grew a family of over 100+. Gladys loved her Family and cherished her time with each of them, especially the babies in her golden years. Some of her hobbies included: sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking for family day, and word search puzzles. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and loved speaking about the Bible as an avid Bible Speaker for 68 years. She would give the shirt off of her back and was truly a giver in the truest sense.
Survivors include her children, Bruce Pago and wife, Ruth of Sulphur, Sandy Perkins and husband, Mark of Orange, Texas, and Kim Pago of Sulphur; seventeen grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; and thirty seven great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 77 years, Alton Pago; her parents; her grandparents, Germaine and Margaret "Teen" Bertrand who raised her from youth; her daughters, Brenda Robinson and Carolyn "Connie" Jacobs; her two sisters, Sue Bertrand and Eula Mae Pago; two great grandbabies; along with her best friend, Mae Wease.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
