She was a native and lifelong resident of the Westlake-Sulphur area. Grace worked for over 25 years with West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital until her retirement. She was very involved with her church and loved to cook. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt.
Survivors include her son, Harry Leon Marcenac of Westlake; her grandson, Corrie Marcenac; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Marcenac; her parents, John and Lillian Vincent; her son, Ronnie Earl Marcenac; her siblings, Andrus Vincent, Wilber Vincent, Isaac Vincent, John A Vincent, Agnes Lunn, and Lydia Madora Clavier; and a granddaughter, Susan Marcenac.
A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Guidroz officiated. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
