Harold lived in Longville for 26 years, coming from Houston, Texas. He attended Squyres United Methodist Church in Ragley. Harold was a volunteer fireman with the Longville Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years Clarice Harrington; son Harold Harrington, Jr., and his wife Susie, of Sulphur; brother Ronald Harrington, of DeRidder; and sister Paulette Woodhatch, of Moss Bluff; 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Roger Harrington.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnny Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Squyres United Methodist Church Cemetery.
