

He was a native of Windsor, Colorado and had been a resident of Sulphur since 1952. Henry was a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran. He retired from Alcoa and had also worked for Gulf States and Olin Chemical. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the John Deere II Cylinder Club, Local #861 Electrical Union, the Masonic Lodge, and the Southwest Rifle and Pistol Shooters.
Survivors include two sons, David Benjamin Ferguson and wife, Kay of Shreveport and Edwin James "Ed" Ferguson and wife, Debbie of Colorado; two daughters, Cherie Ann Otis and husband, Bill of Moss Bluff and Lori Sue Vincent and husband, Mike of Sulphur; one brother, Lory E. Ferguson of Elbert, Colorado; one sister, Adda Lee Dean of Bailey, Colorado; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Ferguson; two sons, Bryan Christopher Ferguson and Mark Blaine Ferguson; and a daughter, Grace Lyn Ferguson.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
