Jacob Lee Terro, 43, of Oceanside, California passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Jacob served in the Marine Corps. from 1998 to 2006 straight out of high school. Jacob loved building his dreams and dreams for others with his hands. He loved his dogs Rex and Blue, always owned a Mustang, and loved farming. At one time, he owned goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and was always ready for a new adventure.
He is survived by his wife, Secil Arici Terro; two children, Seth Terro and Sadie Terro; aunt, Judy Ann Richard; brother, Rudy Reyes, Jr.; cousin, Jonathan Bills; sister, Sheena Martin; brother, Scott Thibodeaux; mother, Brenda Thibodeaux; grandmother, Etta Terro; aunts, Kathy Rogers and Patricia Louviere; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Randy Lee Terro; brother, Darrell Joseph Terro, grandparents, Eugene & Beulah Richard; along with his grandfather, Curtis Terro.
A Celebration of Jacob's life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 am, with Bro. Andrew Johnson officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, from 8:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Sulphur, Louisiana.
