Bubba was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. He attended Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church where he was an usher. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. Bubba loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah Corbello; daughters, Pamela Cookson and her husband Scot of Sulphur, and Lisa Clemens and her husband John of Sulphur; sister Dorothy Casanova and her husband Leonard; and grandson Lance Clemens.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Evelyn Corbello.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, in Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church. The Rev. Jim Winiarski will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. Monday until time of service at the funeral home. A rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
