Jeanette was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. She loved to watch her favorite movies, write in her journal, sew, and put puzzles together. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her parents, Leona Clement Hopper of Edgerly; father, James John Duhon of Carlyss; husband, Stephen Paul Vincent; daughters, Virginia Angelle and husband, John of Youngsville, and Melanie Spell and husband, Clint of Starks; sons, MacKense Bertrand and wife, Crystal of Vinton, Joseph Bertrand, Jr. and wife, Skyler of Lafayette, and Cody Bertrand, Sr. of Sulphur; a Godchild, Willie Patin and wife, Lisa of Carlyss; three sisters, Pamela Patin of Vinton, Angela Vincent of Texas; and Judy Dean of Vinton; two brothers, Charles Duhon of Edgerly, and James Wade Duhon of Vinton; eighteen grandchildren and two on the way; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Deanna Angelle and Samantha Spell, a sister, Paula Hopper, a brother, Andrew Hopper II, grandparents, Hattie Chargois, Lucius Cormier, Eve Duhon, Joe Duhon, and a step-mother, Linda Duhon.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
