Jennifer is the beloved daughter of Randall Ray Baker and Jo Ann LeNormand Baker. She is survived by her brothers, Michael Allen Baker of Carlyss, Louisiana, and his wife, Rachel, and William Randall Baker of Sulphur, Louisiana, and his wife, Kacie. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews: Maria Baker, McKenna Dillard, Kendall Baker, Brennan Baker, Dorian Baker, and Corbin Paul Schmeltz.
Jennifer graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas, and later attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She was employed for several years by Enron Corporation in Houston, Texas, where she worked as an IT Project Manager. Following the dismantling of Enron, she returned to Sulphur.
After developing health issues, Jennifer resided with her parents at their home in Sulphur until 2026.
Jennifer loved music, especially Christian music, and also had a deep appreciation for classic rock and roll from the 1960s and 1970s. She cherished her nieces and nephews and always wanted to be there for them whenever they needed her. She maintained close friendships from her high school years and stayed connected with many friends through Facebook and other social media, as well as a close local circle of women she loved dearly.
Jennifer had a special love for her dogs over the years and leaves behind her beloved dog, Sally, who will continue to be lovingly cared for by her family. She was actively engaged in reading the Bible chronologically alongside her father and enjoyed studying the history, geography, and genealogy of the Scriptures.
Jennifer was deeply loved by her parents and by many others. She will be remembered for her great heart, her kindness, and her genuine love for others. She will be missed greatly.
