He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Joseph Moran Sr. and mother, Myrna Lynell Boudreaux.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Tabitha Moran of Sulphur, Amberly Broussard of Sulphur and Chris Lincoln of Sulphur. Sister, Debra Penn of Sulphur, and brother Daniel Moran Jr. of Dequincy. 7 grandchildren, his beloved companion, Dippy; and a host of nieces of nephews.
Jimmy had hobbies that included painting artwork to gift to others, working on car motors and he boxed for 14 years for Daley's boxing in Westlake, LA. Jimmy was rarely doing something for himself, he was always thinking of others. His door was always open if anyone was ever in need. Jimmy was always there for a warm smile and a funny joke.
Gathering will be on Sunday, June 7th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Jimmy's wishes were to be cremated.
