Mrs. Miller was a member of Houston River Baptist Church. She loved flower gardening, sewing and painting with her friends. She was a member of the Sulphur Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Dewey Miller; her parents Joseph Alton "Happy" LeBouef and Maudie Roberts LeBouef; and sister, Shirley Ann LeBouef Stephens.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and two daughters and their spouses: Stephen Miller (Gena Carlock) of Sulphur, La., Jill Guidry (Greg) of Sulphur, La., and Kimmy Hillebrand (Pete) of Cranberry Township, Pa. Also, fondly remembering her will be her grandchildren, Laura Martin (Johnathan) of Shawsville, Va., Phillip Miller (Sarahann) of Erie, Co., Mallory Tassin (Philip) of Sulphur, La., Chase Guidry of Sulphur, La., Matthew Wallace of Sulphur, La., Kaye Wallace of Sulphur, La., Sara Guidry of Sulphur, La., Scott Hillebrand of Elkridge, Md., and Maggie Campbell (Jake) of Baden, Pa. She had six great grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Charlie, Houston, and Brooklyn Miller; Ariel Martin; Jackie Campbell and Eugene Tassin. She will be remembered fondly by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Joan's life will be held at Hixson - Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am. Pastor Lonnie Gothrup will officiate.Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, January 25 from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
