John was a Vinton native and lived for a time in Rhome, Texas. He was an avid coin collector.
Survivors include his loving wife, Eula Clement; father, Ojust Clement, children, Rita Joyce Nance and husband Ron, Bonny Kearns, Clinton Thompson and wife Susan, Evelyn Ann Angelo and husband Robert, Sally Elaine Fontenot and husband Bradley, Theresa Louise Bland and husband Richard, James L. Yonce and wife Mary, Tony Angelo and wife Amy, and Russell Clement and wife Teresa; sister, Vicki Doucet; Brother, David Clement; 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2013, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. untile service Friday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
