Johnnie M. Waggoner

She was a native of Center,Texas, and has been a resident of Sulphur for over 50 years. Johnnie was an active member of Henning Memorial United Methodist Church in Sulphur. Johnnie enjoyed baking cakes and cookies to bring to her friends and family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Waggoner, his wife Corliss and three grandsons, Alexander, Andrew and Alan, all of Santa Rosa, CA. Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Waggoner; their baby, Jon Gregory; and twelve brothers and sisters.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13 at Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Doug Cain will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home and Monday in the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
