Johnny Andrew Deville Sr.

Johnny Andrew Deville, Sr., 82, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was born to his late parents, Huey and Elizabeth Deville on January 24, 1943 in Westlake, Louisiana. He enjoyed fishing, netting, hunting, and watching old Western shows.

He is survived by his three children, Roxann D. Hardy (Robert), Juanita Deville, and Robert Deville, all of Sulphur, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Stevens Hardy, Rebecca Burgess, Hilda Chimeno, and Etienne J. Hardy; along with eleven great grandchildren.

Johnny is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lou Anna Deville; his parents; two children, Johnny Deville, Jr. and Nelson Deville; siblings, Leroy Deville, Adele LaFleur, Dorothy Shaughnessey, and Betty Deville.

A Celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial in Sulphur, Louisiana on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Mike Thompson officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, from 8:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, Louisiana.
