Joyce lived in the Sulphur area since 1960, coming from Sunset. She attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Joyce was a past vice-president of the Women's Business Leauge and was the president of the PTA for Our Lady's School in Sulphur. She retired as the assistant to the fiscal director of the Diocese of Lake Charles.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Donald Faulk; and son Scott Faulk and wife Nicole of Sulphur. She is preceded in death by her mother Edmay Ancelet Courvelle and father Marcellan Courvelle.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. The Rev. Ed Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until service Wednesday, all at the funeral home.
