She was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vinton. Kay enjoyed canning vegetables and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Walsh of Vinton; her two children, Greg Walsh and companion Karen of Lake Charles, and Dana Falcon and husband Michael of Baton Rouge; one brother, Percy Sweeton of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Terra Autry, Brittani Martin, Brock Patin, Christian Falcon and Paige Falcon; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in First Baptist Church of Vinton. The Rev. Bobby Daniel will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service Saturday in the church.
