He was a native and lifelong resident of the Sulphur-Edgerly area. He was a longtime member of Krewe of Cosmos where he was a walker every year for the Mardi Gras parade. Keith loved watching football, especially LSU and McNeese State University. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his daughter, Kaitlyn Vincent and husband, Chad of Sulphur; his brothers, Craig McFarland, and Brad McFarland and wife, Tina, all of Edgerly; and his grandchildren, Hadleigh and Layton Vincent. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dalton and Martha McFarland.
A Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Hixson's Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
