Kenner James Carpenter

January 14, 2021January 20, 2021

Kenner James Carpenter was born January 14, 2021 to Bryce & Skylar Jinks Carpenter weighing 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 1/4" long. On January 20, 2021 Kenner gained his angel wings and is now at peace with our Lord.

Kenner left an imprint on so many lives and was loved by everyone who got to meet him and those who anxiously awaited to meet him. Kenner was so beautiful with a head full of black hair, his daddy's ears, his mommy and daddy's nose, and his mommy's lips and chin. During his short time with us, we were so blessed to have Fr. Edward Richard of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church come and baptize Kenner on Friday, January 15th, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bryce & Skylar Jinks Carpenter of Sulphur; maternal grandparents, Dale & Shannon Legere Jinks of Hackberry; paternal grandmother, Valerie Perkins of Sulphur; maternal great-grandparents, Ray & Debra Legere of Cankton, Dale Sr. & Charlotte Jinks of Hackberry; paternal great-grandparents, DeeDee & Joel Isaac of Sulphur, John Carpenter of Sulphur, Sandra Hebert of Sulphur; Uncle Brandon & Aunt Torri Jinks of Hackberry, Aunt Madisyn Dupre & Uncle Landen Jinks of Grandlake; cousins, Miya, Finn, and Marcie; godparents, Cody Forrest and Mary Kate Nunez; along with numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, Jan. 25 at 8:30 a.m. until 11:15 in the funeral home. The family will hold a private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Dear mom and dad, what a beautiful Angel you created! God must of needed him in his heavenly realm but do not despair!
The same God who knitted your beautiful Kenner inside of your womb will once again create a new life within you! A rainbow child will be sent to you within a year!
How do I know this? I am a “rainbow child” myself! My mother lost her first daughter at age 8 and within eight years following he brought me into the world and answered my parents prayer for a healthy baby girl!
God is good! God is great! Peace be with you at this time!

Hugs, Karen
