

He was a native of Hastings, Nebraska and had been a resident of Sulphur since 1957, coming from Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska. Kenneth was an Elder and active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the
Swinging Rebels Square Dancing Club, and several bridge clubs. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, square dancing, and volunteering at church. He retired in 1990 from Condea Vista-Sasol.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Lise" Brown of Sulphur; son, Keith R. Brown and wife, Cyndy of Sulphur; two daughters, Maureen Woodruff and husband, Frank and Laura Schaub and husband, David, all of Richmond, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tori Brown, Lauren Brown, Reid Woodruff, Elizabeth "Libby" Woodruff, Christopher Venissat, Morgan Venissat, Adam Schaub, and Alex Schaub; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Brown and Holly Schaub; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Cameron Schaub.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 24, in Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 Center Circle, Sulphur. Pastors Erich and Leslie Mansell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
